Shooting Australia has today released the Junior National Team selection criteria for the 2024 Junior World Championships.\u00a0 The championships are set to take place 26 September to 7 October, 2024 in Lima, Peru.<\/p>\n

2024 ISSF JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT INFORMATION<\/a><\/p>\n

NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION CRITERIA<\/h3>\n

An opportunity now presents itself to the junior athlete cohort within the shotgun, pistol and rifle disciplines.<\/p>\n

We encourage all eligible junior athletes and their support networks to read and make sure they understand the 2024 ISSF Junior World Championships Team Selection Criteria, noting that the selection events are approaching.\u00a0 Engagement in these events will be critical for athletes to record a ‘selection score’.<\/p>\n

2024 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS SELECTION CRITERIA<\/a><\/p>\n

JUNIOR AGE ELIGIBILITY<\/h3>\n

Athletes will remain as Juniors until the 31st December of the year in which they turn 21 years of age\u00a0(ISSF Rule 3.7.4.12)<\/em><\/p>\n

DOMESTIC ENDORSED EVENTS COMPRISING SELECTION SERIES FOR 2024 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS<\/h3>\n

Shooting Australia is excited to endorse a number of domestic events that will comprise the selection series for the 2024 Junior World Championships National Team.\u00a0 The identified selection events for each of the disciplines are events that form part of Shooting Australia’s 2024 Endorsed Event Series.<\/p>\n
